This is why it was important for the HSE team to reinforce our commitment to keeping you safe by encouraging training exercises and providing resources to learn more about Safety Week 2023.
Did you know that around 7,600 people die every day because of accidents that happen on the job, as well as work-related diseases? That is 2.78 million deaths a year!
The World Day for Safety and Health at Work, held on April 28, has been observed during Safety Week by the International Labour Organization (ILO) since 2003. It intends to focus international attention on the magnitude of the problem to help reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries. At Sonnedix, our One Team and our partners remain our top priority, and by providing these tools, we continue to be committed to your well-being.
Our global offices participated in various weekly activities, including first aid training (CPR/AED), workshops on PPE for electrical works, VR simulations of fire extinguishing, and more!
For Sonnedix, this is not just a check box exercise but a moral obligation to prioritize and integrate H&S into our culture. It is a process that requires continuous attention and improvement.
