TURIN, Italy – Sonnedix, the global independent solar power producer (IPP), has acquired a portfolio of two operating solar PV plants from ICS Group, with a combined capacity of 2MW, in Sicily.
The plants are being integrated into Sonnedix’s portfolio in line with its long-term, operational excellence commitment. The acquisition, which was fully executed within six weeks, brings Sonnedix’s operating capacity in Italy to 188MW.
Sonnedix continues to expand its controlled capacity in OECD markets around the world, with 878MW in operation, approximately 400MW under construction and 450MW in late stage development.
For this transaction, Sonnedix was advised by Orrick (Legal) and RSM Studio Palea Lauri Gerla (Tax).
