Sonnedix is looking to develop the next generation of solar innovators in France – and we are looking for an individual who shares our values to become the first Sonnedix Scholar. As part of ‘One Team’, the successful applicant will excel at taking ownership of tasks and driving forward with positive energy to achieve sustainable growth – and our vision for a more sustainable world.

Each year, Sonnedix will invite one student in France to become a Sonnedix Scholar.

What is the scholarship program?

Over the course of the Sonnedix Scholars program, the successful applicant will receive:

  • a financial contribution of €1,250 to be used in support of their studies
  • the valuable opportunity of work experience through an eight weeks’ paid internship
  • a mentor within the company
  • networking opportunities
  • CV and interview skills coaching
  • a global experience at one of our offices in a different country
  • and access to our alumni network as it grows over time.

Over the course of the program, the Sonnedix Scholar will be expected to give two educational presentations and support the design of renewable curriculum materials for students.

Who are we looking for?

Sonnedix Scholars are the solar innovators of the future; when they see problems, they are driven to find solutions. We are looking for people who work well in our ‘One Team’, learn quickly, think boldly, take ownership of deliverables, focus on achieving the right outcome and are intellectually curious.

If you are a high performer enrolled in a full time university course in France (science, engineering or technology-related subject), with a minimum overall average rating of 12/20, we would like to hear from you.

You will need to have at least two years study remaining, full rights to work without restriction in France and a strong command of English.

Timescales

The closing date for 2018 Scholar applications is 29 November 2018. Interviews will take place during December 2018 and the successful applicant will be notified by January 2019.
